I still don't understand the point of enabling the video display in U-Boot if we're not going to put the U-Boot console on it. The monitor will just have a blank screen.
We don't need to enable it for Linux' sake, because Linux can enable the monitor itself if it wants to. It just needs to be told what resolution to use.
