Yes.
I see SUNXI_HDMI_BASE + 0x10000 + 56, bit 19 before vs. SUNXI_HDMI_BASE + 0x3004, bit 2 in the new code.
Is that duplicated functionality in the AW PHY?
Yes.
Linux driver uses standard way and it works just fine, so there is no real reason not to use standard way here too.
