Dear Alfred steele,
In message 528f13590906101426s6f8e18c9lffa602e41ada9a96@mail.gmail.com you wrote:
I believe that AVIC has to be initialized for the MX31 PDK for getting any peripheral based interrupt to work. I did not find any instance of it in the latest MX31 PDK patch, or am i missing anything. If we are assuming that this responsibility gets transferred to the kernel, then its fine.
The rule is that U-Boot initializes only what it needs itself.
Please correct me if i am wrong. If it has to be done in U-boot, what would be an approriate place to do it.
It seems U-Boot is working fine without such initialization?
Best regards,
Wolfgang Denk
