I think this is used when you need an option to be absolutely enabled, since there's no mechanism in defconfig/kconfig to guarantee this for a board.

Mmmmmm.... All rk3588 boards currently use the exact same content for their board header file, I'm wondering if we couldn't just make them use the same include file?

And I also just realized that the options in the board Kconfig can actually be put into the defconfig itself,

Considering that board/indiedroid/nova would be empty, we could even have the last two variables not defined (according to Kconfig).
