OK thanks for the update. Would be keen to get my generic board stuff tested on x86 also, but that might be a separate problem. For initcalls, are you still thinking of looking at that?
I have already started work on it - I have a dedicated linker script which produces the binary file containin the dependancy information and the helper-tool to process it is underway - It currently strips out all the textual information, just need to build the code which sorts it and generates the C file
