Indeed, this has been discussed before, and a full TCP/IP stack would add too much overhead just for a boot loader. So no telnet.
implementation they have done or almost finished they would be willing to share or direct me towards of either netcat or telnet server ?
I don't know of any implementation for U-Boot yet.
