don't think you get the flexibility from TI do load your bootloader onto another device using their tools.
Maybe he is actually porting U-Boot to a DSP? We ported Python to a DSP, so why not?
Yeah, you're right, I've heard about a company porting Linux to a C6x (?) processor of TI, so they must be using a bootloader too :). If it is this, I can ask my collegue what the name of the company was, he met a developer in a TI conference in Paris a couple of weeks ago.
