[U-Boot] arm, da850: Question about start point

Hi all,

I'm new to this mailing-list and to u-boot. I've to port the TI SDK_5.02 to a LogicPD_SOM_AM1808 -based application board. The SDK_5.02 is based on PSP_03.21.00.04, whose u-boot was developed on git u-boot 2010.12

The question is

What's the better, to start from SDK's u-boot or from git u-boot 2010.12 ?
