My plan regarding DT was to wait for it to land in the kernel, and then convert over to using it in u-boot.
I saw some of your patches converting Raspberry Pi to DM and DT which should make migrating HiKey board fairly straight forward, as it shares the same Synopsis IP for MMC and USB :)
OK good. For MMC I sent something with the Rockchip series but have not applied it yet. But yes it will be easier.
