It would be silly to ignore a solution that might actually bring an improvement. But I'd like to understand the benefits, and potential problems first.
By the way: yesterday I've got an idea on how it would be possible to have old and new configuration available at the same time. Instead of
if (CONFIG_COMMANDS & CFG_CMD_ELF)
do
if (CONFIG_COMMANDS & CFG_CMD_ELF) || CONFIG_CMD_ELF
Urgh... I think, if we switch, we should switch completely.
