I have tested your patches on my Dreamplug on top of the SPI patch and my patch to fix the cache setup. It looks to be working fine. It boots from the SD card which is connected via USB. Are there any additional tests you recommend?

Awesome thanks. If you happen to have a usb Ethernet adapter it'd be good to try that out but the flash drive is probably enough for the "has this broken anything" test.
