[U-Boot] CAN support?

Hi,

I've seen some attempts ([1],[2]) to add support for CAN (Controller Area Network) interfaces. But it seems that none of these attempts has made it into mainline U-Boot. What's the status of the CAN support? Is anyone actively working on this?

We're looking for a possibility to output some information to a display connected via CAN bus.
