I apologize if my request would probably result out of topics here, but I would like to have some suggestions from You.
We are running into a new development of a video platform based on 90% on DaVinci family devices. We have also found the DM6446 DVEVM as main candidate to start with.
Now, from TI site we have seen that this evaluation board come with MV distribution, but as we have done in the past, we would like to use a solution based on ELDK environment (u-boot and more).
u-boot davinci is mainline
Anybody knows if such board has been integrated (completely or not) into ELDK? And more, is there any of You that can give me suggestions if there could be any other open source valid alternative?
IMHO the ELDK is a good choice it's have test and it's stable but I've use personnaly gentoo for cross dev and target build It's simple to add board support and easy to maintain
but you could also take a look on OE
