Hello Stefan,
As ppc4xx currently only supports the deprecated nand_spl infrastructure and nobody seems to have time / resources to port this over to the newer SPL infrastructure, lets remove NAND booting completely.
This should not affect the "normal", non NAND-booting ppc4xx platforms that are currently supported.
Could you add dead boards to doc/README.scrapyard, please?
Oops - my bad. I should have noted "normal" boards are still alive. So you don't have to add entries to doc/README.scrapyard, I think. I retract this request. Sorry.
I built all PowerPC boards and confirmed "normal" boards are not affected by this patch.
Looks fine to me.
