This gadget appears to be SoC specific, is it not described in sama5d2.dtsi right ? Do you think it would be beneficial to add it as a separate patch to sama5d2.dtsi ?

I have a feeling this node should also reside in sama5d2.dtsi, and that it's a flexcom in fact (judging by how you hack it later), you should enable the flexcom driver and have this as a child node of the flexcom node (there are some examples done in other sama*.dtsi)
