I don't want to do this. This whitespace cleanup was a mess of work to do, but still I expect relatively few merge conflicts for new patches, and if there are any, they should be straightforward to resolve. And they are definitely easier for you to resolve who knows the patches you are wokring on than for me. Also, I would like to spread the load of this work a bit.
That's why I want to push this first.
