You may want to search for CONFIG_VERY_BIG_RAM and CONFIG_MAX_MEM_MAPPED, see for example "lib_ppc/board.c".

Do you suppose the reason the ends of the `Intel Inside' logo don't
match up is that it was drawn on a Pentium?
