this patch series cleans up some OMAP3 stuff and adds DIG297 board support.

New in v5:

• rebased against u-boot-ti master (007965dbe4dae12);
• updated to support the new am3517 crane board;
• removed two patches that have already been pushed to u-boot-ti master.
