Hi!
Recently I received a request [0] to include a perl script which can edit the uboot environment. Use case is attached below, the file (uboot-envedit) is also attached.
Since it is confusing to add random scripts to Debian packages which are not in upstream, I ask you to include it at your end.

It would be nice to include the uboot-envedit script from fso-utils. It is more suitable for the case where you want to upload uboot configuration from a separate host via USB with dfu-util or similar. My workflow for that is to keep a text file containing my OpenMoko Freerunner uboot configuration and the binary equivalent. When I want to change something, I edit the text file, generate a new binary file with uboot-envedit, upload the new binary file to the Freerunner u-boot_env partition with dfu-util and when it is tested, overwrite the old binary file with the new one.
