Hello Mr Bin,
I have seen your mail in the U-boot minnow board max discussion.
I am currently working on an embedded project using Minnowboard Max and facing some issues with u-boot and loading root filesystem from sd card. Can you please help me on this topic?
I have built a customized Linux kernel and I am checking the boot time. With the UEFI firmware the loading of linux kernel and root file system from the SD card is working fine.
Now I am checking the same using the u-boot. By using U-boot I am seeing that the MMC initialization is not ok. After loading the kernel , the system hangs when trying to load the root file system. I have done some debugging in the Linux kernel mmc driver and I am seeing that the card is not getting initialised- it fails in mmc rescan phase. Do I need to do some modification in u-boot to support this in Minnowboard max.
I am using the u-boot version : u-boot-2016.05
Many thanks in advance :)
Can you paste the exact command you were using in U-Boot to reproduce this problem? The command includes what kernel bootline you were using, where the kernel image was loaded from, etc..
