[U-Boot] FIT image documentation

Hello,

I'd like to switch to the new FIT image format, but I am at a loss at how to use it. Is there a documentation available somewhere or could someone tell me the steps necessary?

I got as far as compiling a .its and got a .itb file but I do not know what to do with it, how to append data or load it in u-boot.
