Hm, you mean the tag "v1.2.0-rc1"? I couldn't compile nor install that version on my system without the attached patch.
Why is the install lined commented out?
Because install fails installing no files. As LIBFDT_INCLUDES is empty (not assigned or referenced anywhere else) that should come as no surprise. Commenting out wasn't meant to be a fix, only to point to a problem that I don't fully understand.
And can I get a clean, signed-off Git patch?
