Seems like people don't care, and I'm fine with applying the patches myself, but I don't want to pull from a tree: I'll apply the patches as they appear on patchwork.

I have just sent v4 to the list, which is a rebase against master, and also removes a function from a header file as noticed in the review. Please can you please pick up this one? We can then start working on the peripheral drivers, etc.
