When I tried to build the boot code, it came out that no ppc-8xx-gcc was found. Where can I get ppc-8xx-gcc?
It's "ppc_8xx-gcc", with a '_', not '-'.
See for example http://www.denx.de/ELDK.html
And by the way:
What ppc405gp board is cheapest, and have minimum hardware?
For the PPC4xx you should use the ppc_4xx- tools, not the ppc_8xx- ones.
I _strongly_ recommend you start reading the DULG. See http://www.denx.de/twiki/bin/view/DULG/Manual
