inside the automatic U-Boot patch tracking system a new ticket [DNX#2007030542000019] was created:

if VIDEO_FB_LITTLE_ENDIAN is defined and a 16-bit video mode is used (GDF_16BIT_565RGB or GDF_15BIT_555RGB), then the macro SHORTSWAP32(x) in drivers/cfg_console.c is not swapping shorts but instead swaps bytes. This leads to bad displays of font characters. Attached patch fixes this.
