I need to support spansion flash file system to existing uboot - Das Uboot 1.4.
You will not have much support for this version for development. It's rather old.
To this end, I would like to know more about the Spansion Flash File Systems that I'm considering to use:

Software / Driver support for SPANSION 29GL256N11FFIIH0 List of changes I need to consider.
None, that device supports CFI. It is supported out of the box.
