The i.MX31 is still in use in a number of projects, and we have some other i.MX31 based boards in mainline, so I feel it would be a bad idea to drop support for the Freescale reference board.
My intention is not to delete boards in use. OK. Please reject this patch. Since it it at the tail of the series, we can simply ignore it.
I wish there was an applicant for its maintainer.
