Another issue that is of great concern for us is configuring some hardware devices (mainly PCI devices) from the bootloader since the system is BIOSless and has no automatic hardware configuration firmware.
Your system is not "BIOSless". It is running U-Boot.
If someone ever did something of this nature using UBoot any help will be appreciated.
I don;t understand what you mean. U-Boot is a boot loader, and it's purpose is to initialize the hardware. So what exactly are you asking?
