/next will require that I revert the previous version.
We will do another thing. It makes no sense that the old version flows into mainline. And on the -next we are allowed to modify and rebase the tree.
I drop the previous series from next. Please then resubmit using u-boot-imx/next.

No - I dropped only the HDMI series, now I removed the "Add splash screen support", too. Now the tree should be ready for your patches.
