It doesn't break it, since it's been broken already ;-) I mean, hell, duplicating most of cmd_eeprom.c there was really a bad non-systematic idea from the get go ...
I'll be back at work on 2014/11/03 and will rework this code based on your eeprom cleanup then. Is that Ok for you?
