Lately I was not able to get a working toolchain with crosstool for my PPC440GX at home, so this seems to have some problems, too...
Another thing I just found while looking for a Linux binary toolchain: Ronetix does provide binary packages of toolchains for different targets - they might be worth a try.
the Blackfin ones they just copy from us ;) -mike
