Git bisect shows the issue to be in commit 5bf497e3 (cc:ing author)

The error seems to be trivial:

arch/arm/imx-common/iomux-v3.c:14:32: fatal error: asm/arch/sys_proto.h: No such file or directory

I check it, there was the same issue for mx25, I'll fix it.

Thanks, I saw you have sent out a patch. I suggest you take it into the imx tree (possibly applying it where it ensures as few non-building commits as possible) then re-send a PR.
