I reject this patch, because it is excrescent.
- rm -f u-boot u-boot.map u-boot.hex $(ALL)
- rm -f u-boot u-boot.map u-boot.hex System.map $(ALL)
Please check the definitioon of "ALL":
ALL = u-boot.srec u-boot.bin System.map
You patch makes no sense to me.
[I can only speculate that you are another victim of a broken version of "make".]
