Dear Wolfgang Denk
- add .gitignore Patch by Hiroshi Ito, 5 Apr 2006
I'm sorry, but for reasons explained before (see mailing list archive) I do not *want* to have any .gitignore files in the U-Boot tree.
Ok. I understand your opinion. If I am a maintainer, I might think the same.
But, I think .gitignore is usefull for a developer. because I change a lots of files to put debug message for understanding u-boot or findings bugs. and Sometimes unexpected chenges are made by mistakes. I check it with "git status", so I like to use this command easily.
And if there is a maintaind .gitignore file, It is very usefull.
How about this patch. not .gitignore but maintaind as gitignore.
