This is what the tail function is supposed to be for. I don't see where NAND_NO_AUTOINCR or NAND_NO_SUBPAGE_WRITE are called in the head (nand_scan_ident/nand_get_flash_type) functions. I only see NAND_BUSWIDTH_16 and NAND_4PAGE_ARRAY checked there.
