I'm trying to build u-boot-1.1.6 for ColdFire 5282 but I face to the following error ( using gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 m68k-elf- tools-20031003.sh )
Your compiler is out-of-date, please goto http://www.codesourcery.com/gnu_toolchains/coldfire/download.html to download the latest compiler.
Seems that everybody use dBUG+CoLilo with this cpu, so I wonder if it is u-boot-1.1.6 for ColdFire 5282 a good choice because I'd like to use it.
No. Please use the latest u-boot version. There are many changes since then.
