I am aware of that. In the code by Tushar Behera you will see that he does mark it - "not multicast and outside official 80211 MAC namespace".
Ok, but this is an open source code, and I assume that it should keeps some of the standards?
At least the code could and should make sure the Locally Administered flag is set in the randomly generated MAC -- that would keep the MAC standard and ensure it won't conflict with universally administered (iow, 'normal') MAC addresses.
