Note that the kernel doesn't have a defined I2C bus numbering; any numbering that exists is a side-effect of the non-guaranteed I2C node enumeration order. That said, feel free to make the bus ordering in U-Boot be whatever you want.

I believe there's been a recent cleanup pass on all the Makefiles, so a lot of this boiler-plate needs to be removed to conform with the new style. Take a look at board/nvidia/*/Makefile for some examples.
