Dear Wolfgang,
I've removed CONFIG_OF_FLAT_TREE as a cleanup. It would be nice to get it into the 1.34 release, but it can wait for 1.35 if anybody is uncomfortable with this. Since it is enabled on only two boards, it doesn't affect most boards either way.
