Sorry, haven't seen that PR. This patch depends on 'clk: at91: Add clock driver' (9e5935c in u-boot-atmel/master). No build error for arm nor avr32 here (also depends on http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/659378/; currently not on u-boot-atmel/master).
