What is the limit in SPL size on rk3399?
rk3399 has 192KB internal SRAM, the bootrom use the first 8K, so the SPL size limit should be 184KB.
The of-platdata feature is intended for highly constrained devices where there is not enough SRAM for libfdt. To me it does not seem worth the pain of using it for this chip, which has plenty of SRAM.
