Typo: it should be "run" instead of "un"
I tested the instructions and it did not work for me. After I ran these steps I still got the old U-Boot on the eMMC.
The procedure that worked here is:
=> dfu 0 mmc 0 Flash SPL => dfu 0 mmc 0 Flash U-Boot proper
=> mmc partconf 0 0 0 0 => saveenv
