I followed the steps given in patch file for x86 machine and modified and getting the below error.

Hmm, I don't think U-Boot is what your after. There are a few problems you will be faced with: - There is no ACPI support (no power management) - No System Management Mode (SMM) support - No chipset support (No RAM initialisation) - No Cache-As-RAM init code
Unless you have at least these covered, you will brick your board if you try to flash U-Boot. You might instead take a look at coreboot

Please provide more detail - what have you tried? What was the result? The build scripts should work as is on a properly configured x86_64 build machine
