100% agreed. The patch I proposed can be seen as a workaround, not a real fix.
Applying it will give the benefit of allowing mx23 to boot a kernel again, and then we can focus on the real fix, which requires a more careful and detailed investigation.

So ... who is gonna make the measurements with a scope and come up with a proper patch, who's volunteering to do that please?
