sounds reasonable, so already in the making. Patchset in reply to this mail.

Again:

• compile-tested on beagle, evm, over, pandora, zoom1
• boot-tested on own board
• based on v2009.06-rc1
• applies on u-boot-arm/next but breaks zoom2

Please test on other platforms.

Compile tested with recent mainline: Ok.

Boot tested on BeagleBoard: Ok.
