This procedure should trigger the problem: mtdparts default; nand erase.part filesystem; ubi part filesystem; ubi part filesystem
You should see errors with second "ubi part filesystem" command like UBI error: ubi_io_read: error -74 while reading 64 bytes from PEB 0:0, read 64 bytes.
You can force UBI not to use subpages (change 2048 to full size of your NAND page): mtdparts default; nand erase.part filesystem; ubi part filesystem 2048; ubi part filesystem 2048
