I've successfully tested this patchset on an Armada XP board. Additional test on other boards and platforms are very welcome and necessary.
I've also discovered that the timer command (CONFIG_CMD_TIMER) was broken at some time in the past. It does not keep time correctly (lagging realtime badly), with or without this patch set . I think we would want to investigate that issue later.
The sleep command works perfectly. Therefore,
