No, the AT91RM9200 doesn't contain any Flash memory. The start-up code
is located in mask ROM and can't be reprogrammed. Since it is mapped
to normal memory address space no special software has to be used to
read from the mask ROM.
OK, then I think the at45.c driver isn't needed for the cmc_pu2 board
at all (because there exists no dataflash hardware on this board, which 
could be supported by the driver). Maybe this slipped through when the 
cmc_pu2 board was derived from the at91rm9200dk?
