In message 20040924081112.4213.qmail@web15608.mail.cnb.yahoo.com you wrote:
the arm cpu that have the arm-tdmi core can port u-boot,because it has no mmu unit , i can't confirm that u-boot is siutable for it .
This sentence makes no sense.
It's not the CPU which pan port U-Boot. That wuld be too nice a thing. No, it's you, the programmer, who must perform the port.
Second, there are ARM-TDMI cores with and without MMU.
for your confirrmation: U-Boot runs perfectly fine on systems with and without MMU.
In the files which i downloaded from sourceforge.net/projects/u-boot ,i find there is not this type of arm cpu that i have in the achived directory of cpu.My arm CPU is philips arm LPC221O. If i want to port the u-boot on the arm cpu . what shoul
d i do ? and how shou i do?
You should start reading the README and the DULG.
