I am not a native english speaker, sorry for my stupid english forehand. I am trying to learn the famous U-BOOT. My kit is: -BDI2000 -ARM7(S3C44B0) (Compiled from /DAVE/B2)
My working log here: 1) First stuff very strange (gdb) file u-boot Reading symbols from u-boot...done. (gdb) target remote 192.168.0.17:2001 Remote debugging using 192.168.0.17:2001 0x00000000 in ?? () (gdb) step <=========odd here!!! Cannot find bounds of current function <=========odd here!!! (gdb) 2) Second stuff very strange Then i change it to (gdb) load Loading section .text, size 0x152b4 lma 0xc100000 Loading section .rodata, size 0x4a40 lma 0xc1152b4 Loading section .data, size 0xc28 lma 0xc119cf4 Loading section .u_boot_cmd, size 0x4b0 lma 0xc11a91c Start address 0xc100000, load size 110028 Transfer rate: 176044 bits/sec, 301 bytes/write. However, in the telnet from the BDI2000 Core#0>info Core number : 0 Core state : debug mode (ARM) Debug entry cause : Debug Request <===============Odd here Current PC : 0x0c100000 <===============Odd here Current CPSR : 0x000000d3 (Supervisor)
3) The third one (gdb) b cpu_init_crit Breakpoint 1 at 0xc1000b4: file /debug/u-boot-1.1.1/cpu/s3c44b0/start.S, line 189. Actually, i just hard reset both the BDI2000 and the target board, and restart the gdb, and no breakpoint at all.
Any big brother could help? Very appreciate!
